The Dale "DATA" BASEmann Homepage (www.ipowerweb.com)

Hi.  My name is Dale Basemann.  Thanks to God I have been blessed with a good mind when it comes to computers.  Since November of 1997, I have been employed as a Senior Oracle DBA with Eaton System Consulting.  Our company specializes in Oracle DBA and PeopleSoft Development work.  Thanks to God and this good job, I have been able to pursue and realize some of my dreams.  I have always wanted a fast car.   Thankfully, I never owned a fast car earlier in life or I would have probably died.

I started riding motorcycles after I got run over in 1978, when I was 16.  In the past I had a LTD 550 as a first bike and a GPZ 550 as my second bike.  My friends gave me a tag which read KAMAKASI to place on my helmet.  To say the least I was a crazy driver.  Thanks to growing up, I care if I live or die and drive more responsibly.  By no means am I saying I'm a model driver, it is just that I have improved and intend to continue to strive towards Gods will in all aspects of my life.  I now ride a big touring bike, 1999 Yahama Venture.  I love crusing out in the country to enjoy the atmosphere.  There are good smells and not so good smells.  There are animals, sun, shade, clouds, rain, crops, trees, rivers, lakes, oceans, among many other wonderful things God has provided us.  When I ride in a hilly area I want to keep going up and fly.

I always thought material things were what made you happy in life.  In 1997, after five years of sobriety, more and more material things, and a nervous breakdown, I found that having God in my life and trying to do Gods will in my life, which includes helping others, was the answer.  Since I have been attempting to help others and do Gods will, and praying to and building my trust in God, I have felt better than ever.  It's not what I have that makes me happy, it's what I do.  There are peaks and valleys, but things are definately on an steep upward trend since I have let God into my life.
